This was a very large scale project refurbishment project inside a beautifully detailed large Georgian apartment in Central London.  The project was designed and project managed by Fiona Atkinson, with the main contractors of  TW Property Service who are long standing associates of Byply.  The bespoke Library furniture was required throughout the apartment on a grand scale but importantly to remain unimposing without being overwhelming within the different rooms/spaces. The apartment had lots of ornate original plaster work and details with an impressive 3.3m ceiling height. Our brief was to design, manufacture and install enough fitted bookcases to house well over 10,000 books. All the furniture needed to be in-keeping with the building without being intrusive to the spaces within an appropriate design that enhanced this beautiful Georgian apartment.
